Ashley Coghill, 19, was killed when she lost control of her vehicle and overturned in a pasture
A Dodge City teen died Saturday afternoon following a rollover crash in northern Kansas. It happened around 1 p.m. near the intersection of Arrowhead and Parallel Road, a few miles west of Vining in Washington County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said a Kia passenger car was heading westbound on Parallel Road when its driver lost control, left the roadway and overturned in a pasture. Nineteen-year-old Ashley Coghill was pronounced dead at the scene. Reports state she was not wearing a seatbelt.
(WASHINGTON COUNTY, Kan.) — A teenager has died after a vehicle crashed in Washington County. It happened on Parallel Road, east of Arrowhead and west of Vining, about 1 p.m. Saturday.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 19-year-old Ashley Coghill, of Dodge City, was driving west bound on Parallel Road and lost control, leaving the north roadway and subsequently overturning in the north pasture.
Coghill did not survive the crash.
